Nintendo formally released 3DS in E3 2010. However, Satoru Iwata said, it’s not 3DS’s formal announcement campaign. In those game producers’ 3DS trial videos, they all highly praise on Nintendo 3DS, which offers better control and more game probabilities. It seems that a big revolution will come to the game market.

SEGA has announced Wii new work ” Super Monkey Ball:Step & Roll ” will be on sale in 2010.

In February this year, there were some rumors that the super violent Rock star game “Manhunt 2” would be escaping to PC, because drivers v.182.05 which released by NVIDIA including “Manhunt 2.exe”, but disappeared in the latest drivers v.182.06. In 2007, “War Machine” was the case landed on the PC. It could infer that “Manhunt 2” may be landing PC. However, the official did not release any news during the past few months. The Xbox 360′s failure rate is five times the rate as the PS3 and eight times the rate as the Wii. The Consumerist reports, citing a study by Game Informer. The Xbox failure rate is 54.2%, the PS3′s is 10.2%, and the Wii’s 6.8%.

A California state college student was arrested for modifying gaming console hardware to bypass copy protection technology. Matthew Lloyd Crippen, 27, or Anaheim was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Monday following indictment by a federal grand jury on two counts of violating provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), each count carrying a maximum of five years imprisonment. Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo DSi and Sony Corp.’s PSP handheld ranked under the Wii console at Japan retail after weeks of dominating the top two hardware rankings.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the DSi sold 73,710 units between July 27 and Aug. 2 to rank No. 2 in overall sales.By comparison, the PSP sold 33,049 units to rank third in the same period. Read the rest of this entry »
