Recently, from the news of gbatemp.net, Supercard Team will release Supercard DSONEi. The new flash kit is their first product compatible on DSi based on original Supercard DS ONE. As Nintendo DSi released in different regions, the well-know flashcart producers launched their own “i” card.

Here Supercard DSONEi comes with a USB based firmware update. It means that the DSONEi can be plug into your computer USB port directly and the firmware will be updated. If flashcart cannot run on DSi by its firmware update, gamers using DSONEi can easily flash their own flashcart and without the need of DSi consoles.

The USB flasher will work on any USB port, no need any drivers, software or user interaction. The firmware update is different from updating the kernel/loader, and also can be downloadable from the Supercard official website. Putting the firmware on the MicroSD card, inserting the SD card into the DSONEi, the DSONEi into the USB flasher, and then insert to an active USB port, the cart will be updated automatically.
