Sony geared up for the impending launch of Gran Turismo for the PSP by launching a special Limited Edition Gran Turismo pack. The special run mates the older, UMD-based PSP-3000 in silver with a copy of the racing game, a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, and download codes for the in-game version of the white Corvette ZR1 seen on the cover, a free movie from Sony’s PSN video store and 10 songs from its Mac- and PC-ready Music Pass service. Rockstar Games, the developers behind the Grand Theft Auto series, announced on Monday that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be coming to Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch this fall.

In February this year, there were some rumors that the super violent Rock star game “Manhunt 2” would be escaping to PC, because drivers v.182.05 which released by NVIDIA including “Manhunt 2.exe”, but disappeared in the latest drivers v.182.06. At its Gamescom press conference in Germany overnight, Sony announced that yes, the PlayStation 3 is indeed a reality and will be in shops in New Zealand on September 3.
