<p><strong>Razer DeathAdder </strong>is Razer&#8217;s entry-level gaming mouse, and now it has been updated to 3.5g laser version. However good Razer DeathAdder is, it will not be superior to Razer Mamba which looks similar.<span id="more-3760"></span> Today we will introduce how to make Razer DeathAdder handle better than Razer Mamba. If you open Razer DeathAdder, it just means that you will lose Razer warranty. So be clear about it.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-2.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3762" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 2" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-2-300x225.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 2" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder</p>
<p>Regarding to handle, it refers to three kinds of feeling: grip, touch and click. We will change DeathAdder’s clicking feeling.<a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-3.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><br />
</a><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-3.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3763" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-3-300x225.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 3" width="300" height="225" /></a><br />
Razer DeathAdder bottom</p>
<p>There are three screws in Razer DeathAdder bottom. To unscrew the screws, a high quality screwdriver is needed, because this kind of galvanized iron screw is easily to slip.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-5.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3764" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 5" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-5-300x225.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 5" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder Internal Structure</p>
<p>There are pretty many modules inside Razer DeathAdder. DeathAdder has total two layers of PCB, and the bottom one is to control light and gaming system, while the top one is for inching and scroll wheel.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-6.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3765" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 6" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-6-300x193.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 6" width="300" height="193" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder main chip</p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder uses Avago S3668 chip which is stronger than normal optical mice with Avago A5030. Be careful about the flex cables, especially the wide ones. Because Razer doesn’t take into account that gamers would disassemble DeathAdder in the design, the flex cables is easily to break in the process.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-7.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3766" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 7" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-7-300x193.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 7" width="300" height="193" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder flex cables</p>
<p>Nowadays, high end mouse all adopts Omoron inching including Razer DeathAdder, but only low-end Omoron inching. The side keys of Razer DeathAdder is the TTC inching.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-8.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3767" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-8.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 8" width="250" height="158" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder inching</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-9.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3768" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 9" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-9.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 9" width="250" height="158" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder inching</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-10.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3769" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-10-300x192.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 10" width="300" height="192" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder breath light</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-11.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3770" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-11.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 11" width="250" height="158" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder breath light</p>
<p>So, here is the point. How to change Razer DeathAdder clicking feeling? To us, the shortcomings of Razer DeathAdder is the long key regulation and big flexibility. What is the method to shorten the key regulation as well as reduce the flexibility? But all we have is the foot pads.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-13.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3771" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-13.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 13" width="250" height="159" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder key part</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-14.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3772" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 14" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-14.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 14" width="250" height="158" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder key part</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-15.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3773" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 15" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-15-300x225.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 15" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Foot pads</p>
<p>We stick the foot pads in the button and inching connecting surface as showed in the following pictures. Could it be so easily to achieve the goal? No. After closing the cover and screwing the screws, we find that the key can not be pressed down. Why? It’s obvious that foot pads thickness is larger than key regulation. But we don&#8217;t have such a skill to cut down half thickness of those foot pads.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-16.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3774" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-16-300x193.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 16" width="300" height="193" /></a></p>
<p>Part of Razer DeathAdder</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-17.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3775" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-17-300x192.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 17" width="300" height="192" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder keys in the casing</p>
<p>We also stick foot pads in the top PCB-the screw position of welding key inching to prop up the PCB and enlarge key regulation between inching and key. So the height which the larger key regulation deducts the thickness of foot pad between key and inching is the key distance, which is shorter than the original one.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-18.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3776" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-18.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 18" width="250" height="160" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-19.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-3777" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 19" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-19.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 19" width="250" height="159" /></a></p>
<p>Use the foot pad to prop up the PCB and increase the distance between key and inching.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-20.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3778" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 20" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-20-300x193.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 20" width="300" height="193" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-21.jpg" rel="lightbox[3760]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3779" title="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 21" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Make-Razer-DeathAdder-Handle-better-than-Mamba-21-300x168.jpg" alt="Make Razer DeathAdder Handle better than Mamba 21" width="300" height="168" /></a></p>
<p>Razer DeathAdder<br />
On the trial, we also add the foot pad in the rear screw position in the PCB which works the same as the abovementioned ones, which provids better and stable effect. It is worth mentioning that the key regulation will be affected by each screw at the same time when you close the cover. It may be resulted from the top and bottom PCB have been near each other after increasing the PCB heights. So don’t try to screw the screws too closely.</p>

<p><strong>Logitech MX518 </strong>features 1800 dpi, a sculpted comfort grip and eight programmable buttons, and is one of gamers’ favorite FPS gaming mouse. What’s Logitech MX518  inner structure? Let’s dismantle it.</p>
<p><span id="more-3530"></span></p>
<p>It is not hard to open Logitech MX518,  which only needs to remove 3 screws in the bottom.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-0.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3531" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 0" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-0-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 0" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>After opening Logitech MX518 top cover, we can see its internal structure. There are two layers of PCBs inside corresponding to different function modules. Circuit design also exits in the top cover.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-0.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"></a><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-02.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3532" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 02" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-02-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 02" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>To turn over the top cover, we&#8217;ll see its internal structure clearer.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-03.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3533" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 03" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-03-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 03" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>There are totally two large parts of function modules in Logitech MX518. Let’s begin from the top cover which is simpler.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-04.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3534" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 04" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-04-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 04" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>Logitech MX518 top cover, which has all the buttons, is mainly to realize touch function. Only one circuit connection in Logitech MX518 is to complete side buttons function. In fact, this part of PCB is fixed by the top cover.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-05.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3535" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 05" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-05-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 05" width="300" height="225" /></a><br />
A nattier blue lever fixed by a screw can be seen clearly in the above picture. Its part near the white screw is the contactors of side keys, by which it can complete all side keys functionality.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-06.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3536" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 06" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-06-300x171.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 06" width="300" height="171" /></a></p>
<p>There are also a big and a small inconspicuous contactor near the silver screw seperately, which are to inch the function buttons of Logitech MX518 top cover to perform special functional action. Take the following two pictures for reference, you can easily understand the contactors usage.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-07.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3537" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 07" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-07-300x145.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 07" width="300" height="145" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-08.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3538" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 08" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-08-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 08" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>The following picture is the PCB in Logitech MX518 top cover, which is also the button position of two side keys and two top cover functional contactors. The entire PCB is connected to the bottom part by a cable.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-09.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3539" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 09" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-09-300x222.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 09" width="300" height="222" /></a><br />
The total inching switches are Omron products with good durability and handle.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-010.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3540" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 010" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-010-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 010" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>It is worth mentioning that the side keys handle is lighter and softer than the left and right keys because of different resilience settings in their inching switches.</p>
<p>Logitech key module function is fairly concentrated with simple function distinction. After removing the top cover, Main PCB, data cable interface, key control module and inching part can be seen in the bottom plate.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-1.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3541" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 1" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-1-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 1" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-2.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3542" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 2" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-2-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 2" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p>This is Logitech internal inching switch integration, which also uses Omron inching switch. As mentioned above, Logitech MX518 left and right keys resilience setting is harder than side keys, which is also Logitech product consistent feature. And the clicking sound of the left and right keys are louder than two side keys obliviously.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-3.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3543" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-3-300x198.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 3" width="300" height="198" /></a></p>
<p>The yellow button is corresponding to the function button before the scroll wheel to realize DPI increasing; the blue part is corresponding to EL grating effect function judgement module to determine scroll wheel rolling and send action signal.</p>
<p>The following picture is the close up view of inching switch integration part. The sliver steel wire is the cause of the scroll wheel clear clicking sound.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-4.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3544" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 4" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-4-300x182.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 4" width="300" height="182" /></a><br />
Other side view of scroll wheel and inching integration. The signaling cable is connected in the rear part. All the PCBs are fixed by clips and a screw. Flexible steel wheel supports the pressing and upspring of the scroll wheel.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-5.jpg" rel="lightbox[3530]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3545" title="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 5" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-5-300x135.jpg" alt="Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse Disassembly 5" width="300" height="135" /></a></p>
<p>USB and PS/2 the signal transformation function control chip is produced by Cypress semiconductor company and packaged by 24pin DIP; This integrated PCB belongs to low speed USB microcontroller with built-in crystal oscillator, 12MHz operating rate , 8Kx8 programmable memory and 256&#215;8 RAM to save the mouse original and user customize function modules.</p>

<p><strong>Microsoft SideWinder X3</strong>, a medium and low end gaming mouse, features symmetric design. Let’s disassemble Microsoft SideWinder X3.</p>
<p><span id="more-3311"></span></p>
<p>Microsoft SideWinder X3 bottom is very simple with only two foot pads to hide screws. The foot pads are 1mm thick wiht 0.5mm black material top and 0.5mm hard colloid bottom, which are really tough and firmly spliced. After removing foot pads, three  Phillip’s head screws come out.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-2.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3313" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 2" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-2-300x185.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 2" width="300" height="185" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Three screw holes after removing foot pads</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-3.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3314" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-3-300x199.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 3" width="300" height="199" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Microsoft SideWinder X3 1mm thick foot pads</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">After we remove three screws, Microsoft SideWinder X3 inner part can be seen, which is quite clear with two-layer PCBs. There are no flex cables inside, which reduce fault probabilities of flex cable breaking down. No PCB is in the top cover. Side keys and DPI adjust button are both directly integrated into main PCB.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-4.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3315" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 4" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-4-300x200.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 4" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Simple inner design reduces fault probilitites</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Microsoft SideWinder X3 doesn&#8217;t have three layers as usual Microsoft mice do,  but two-layer PCBs fixed by screws and snaps in the top cover like normal all-in-one button mice.<br />
Microsoft SideWinder X3 has the same top inching triggering area and side triggering as IE 3.30, I01.1. To resolve side key looseness problem, SideWinder X3 features hinge connection in the joint part of side keys and top cover. A spring is also used to force side keys to return and hold their position, and avoid the looseness situation for a long time use, which may be resulted from plastic deformation as regular mice side key return rely on material tenacity and inching resilience force.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-5.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3316" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 5" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-5-300x202.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 5" width="300" height="202" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Improved side key design of Microsoft SideWinder X3</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-6.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3317" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 6" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-6-300x199.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 6" width="300" height="199" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">The fixed screw in the rear part of top cover</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The DPI adjust button, like a claw, is controlled by inching.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-7.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3318" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 7" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-7-300x204.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 7" width="300" height="204" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">SideWinder X3 claw DPI adjust button</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">The top and middle cover can be separated after the fixed screw and two snaps in the front key part is off. There are totally three DPI buttons, two springs, two side keys, a top cover, a middle cover and a screw.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-8.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3319" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-8-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 8" width="300" height="225" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">snap in the top cover button support</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">All the parts of SideWinder X3 top cover</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">After dismantling the top part, let’s look at SideWinder X3 core structure. There are double PCBs, and the top one, which fixes DPI adjust inching, is fixed by three screws in the base plate support. A small black rubber covers DPI inching, which is used to control DPI indicator diffusion. The scroll wheel is grating structure as IE 3.0, but with great improvement in module accuracy, tactile response and compact structure.</p>
<p>SideWinder X3 middle button uses a square inching, and a spring on its top to strengthen resilience force. The left-right button and side keys inching, are not Omron white inching which is appreciated by gamers, but Panasonic brownish black square inching, which differs a lot from IE 3.0, I01.1. The PCB near inching  is too narrow for gamers to change OMRON rectangular inching.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">

<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">A spring is added in the middle button to strengthen its resilience force<br />
Two PCBs of Microsoft SideWinder X3 are connected by contact pins, which is rare design in regular flex cable connecting mice. Pin connection reduces fault probabilities, but needs high weld accuracy.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">SideWinder X3 laser sensor</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">After removing SideWinder X3 top PCB, main PCB, inching and laser sensor are left. A small black rubber covers laser sensor. A6010 laser sensor in SideWinder X3, which has losing frame and bad compatibility problem in Logitech G5 or Razer Copperhead, performs well and has good compatibility with normal cloth and synthetic resin mouse pads, which may be caused by   AVAGO improvment.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Microsoft adds a little circle cable clip in the joint part of mouse cable and casing to avoid effects on inner circuit components when the cable is pulled. Surprisingly, when we pull the cable clip out, the PCB also separated from base plate. SideWinder X3 PCB is fixed by the scroll wheel pressure and the rubber in laser sensor, and doesn’t resemble the screw fixing methord in other high or medium end mice. Microsoft makes trickery here. It’s well known to all that laser sensor system has high demand on laser sensor, Len and light source relative position. This design may not have influence  on regular operation temporarily, but after a long time, if the scroll wheel is worn or laser sensor rubber is transformed, and then their relative position  changes, SideWinder X3 can&#8217;t avoid going wrong.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-21.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3332" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 21" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-21-300x198.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 21" width="300" height="198" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">The back of main PCB (red part is the memory chip)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Microsoft SideWinder X3 Len also adopts integrated design with light source as regular mice. Due to its structure, we can’t take off the Len and light source unless removing sensing chip first. As SideWinder X3 MCU is blocked by the Len on the back of main PCB, MCU specific mode can not be seen clearly.</p>
<p>SideWinder inner part doesn’t feature luxury workmanship as Microsoft hardware always does. It can not be said rough, but also has nothing to do with delicate.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-24.jpg" rel="lightbox[3311]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3335" title="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 24" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-SideWinder-X3-Disassembly-24-300x199.jpg" alt="Microsoft SideWinder X3 Disassembly 24" width="300" height="199" /></a></p>

<p>Microsoft launched the first bluetrack wired mouse- <strong>Comfort Mouse 4500</strong>. Whether Comfort Mouse 4500 can exceed Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical, Let’s dismantle it to see its inner structure.</p>
<p><span id="more-3126"></span></p>
<p>First, we remove the mouse foot pads, and then the bottom three screws appear, and they are not Philip’s head screws but six-star screw in short distance.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3128" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-3-300x202.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 3" width="300" height="202" /></p>
<p>The three bottom screws as above, the tail  one is bigger while the other front ones are similar.</p>
<p>Due to no PCB flex cables in the top cover, Comfort Mouse 4500 can be easily separated after removing the bottom screw. To avoid the looseness of side keys, two torsional springs are specially added in the side which is different from IE3.0. As the increase of springs, the connection of side keys and top cover is designed as spindle hinge, which is also different from IE 3.0 return design via side keys components’ plastic resilience.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3129" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 4" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-4-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 4" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Separated top cover of Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3130" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 5" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-5-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 5" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Top cover inner structure of Comfort Mouse 4500</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3131" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 6" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-6-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 6" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Side keys feature of Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500</p>
<p>Due to Precise module and new clips structure, it definitely costs us much time to totally dismantle the top cover of Comfort Mouse 4500. It inherits all-in-one three-layer top cover design which is the same as Microsoft Laser Gaming Mouse 6000.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3132" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 7" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-7-300x206.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 7" width="300" height="206" /></p>
<p>All the components of the top cover, from left to right: top casing, middle casing, main part, two small torsional springs.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3133" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-8-300x204.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 8" width="300" height="204" /></p>
<p>The side skid-proof 1mm thick rubber  provides good handle.</p>
<p>Now let’s look into the core components of Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500- the so called bluetrack optical engine and PCB. Comfort Mouse 4500 has two PCB boards, the front is for the inching and scroll wheel, the rear is key components like bluetrack engine and MCU.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3134" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 9" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-9-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 9" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 PCB</p>
<p>Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 base plate is fixed by three Phillip’s head screws. In the LED part, two six-star screws fasten bottom optical lens. MCU is the Sunplus 8 Bit IC.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3135" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-10-300x203.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 10" width="300" height="203" /></p>
<p>MCU of Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3136" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-11-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 11" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Due to the specialty of bluetrack, master PCB is risen.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3137" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 12" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-12-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 12" width="300" height="225" /><br />
Master PCB identification of Microsoft Mouse 4500</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3138" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-13-300x202.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 13" width="300" height="202" /></p>
<p>Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 adopts Microsoft consistent raster design, which differs from common encoder structure in  other mouses.</p>
<p>For its left-right scroll wheel design, Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 is a bit more complex than IE 3.0 structure. The tail scroll wheel has a shifting block to trigger inching of left-right scroll wheel.  A small spring is used to strengthen middle button trigger stress to reduce the misoperation. Though the scroll wheel is fastened by mounting board, it cost much time in dismantle it. After removing scroll wheel and all the screws, PCB can be taken off.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3139" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 14" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-14-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 14" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>left and right scroll wheel without tactile response</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3140" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 15" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-15-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 15" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>PCB without the scroll wheel</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3141" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-16-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 16" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Panasonic brown spot inching is used for left-right keys. It also can be observed that scroll wheel uses raster structure.<br />
Comfort Mouse 4500 also changes the side key structure from overhead inching contact to side contact with better handle, which can reduce a PCB and few cables to decrease fault probability.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3142" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-17-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 17" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>All the wielding spots in Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 are full and balanced with sturdy workmanship. It surprised us that mouse cables are fixed by wire buckle, screws and binder plate, which is more sophisticated than clip fixings in normal mouses.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3143" title="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Microsoft-Comfort-Mouse-4500-Disassembly-18-300x225.jpg" alt="Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500 Disassembly 18" width="300" height="225" /></p>

<p><strong>Razer</strong> launched the first gaming mouse for the left handed gamers-<strong>Abyssus mirror edition,</strong> which is really shiny and pretty. Let’s get closer to Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition.</p>
<p><span id="more-3098"></span></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3100" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 32" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-32-268x300.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 32" width="268" height="300" /></p>
<p>Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Mirror Edition packing</p>
<p>Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition mirror edition uses the idiomatic black packing and Medusa Logo is in the top right side.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3101" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-3-300x201.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 3" width="300" height="201" /></p>
<p>Inside Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition packing</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3102" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 4" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-4-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 4" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition</p>
<p>Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition has ultra long and wide integration buttons, hard side line, thin base plate, and smiling foot pads and so on.<br />
Bright mirror surface features the sense of glaze, which show its low-key and black luxury that totally let the piano lacquer design shame. When it connects to the PC, the back Medusa LOGO emits faint blue light, setting off Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition showy temperament.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3103" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 30" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-30-300x300.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 30" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p>The base plate of Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition</p>
<p>It’s a pity that Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition also has black rubber scroll wheel, not as the shiny one in Razer Imperator gaming mouse.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3104" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 6" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-6-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 6" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition relevant accessory</p>
<p>The accessory for Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition also includes quickest guide, senior user guide, product card, product manual, certificate of authenticity, tags but without light disk as the same. Users, who want to use the senior function, have to download drive in Razer official website. Maybe as Razer drive update is too frequency, Razer didn’t attach the light disk since last year.</p>
<p>Mouse drives certainly also inherit the drive program of Razer Abyssus. Though DPI and response rate can be adjusted by the mechanical slide switchs, several detailed adjustment need to be realized via drive. As an entry-level gaming mouse, Razer Abyssus mirror edition strengthens driver-free design, whose driving is easier than brethren Razer Death Adder.</p>
<p><strong>Let&#8217;s begin to disassemble Razer Abyssus mirror edition.</strong></p>
<p>After carefully uncover the rear foot pads, only one fixed screw is in the button. Unscrew this screw, and then the top cover and base plate can be separated. But be careful when open it, because a line supplying electricity for bottom LOGO connects the top and rear case. After removing it gently, the top and bottom case are totally isolated.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3106" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 7" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-71-300x199.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 7" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>Inside Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p>Razer Abyssus mirror edition adopts integration standard two-layer structure. The buttons are fixed by four clips and three fixed legs. Due to ultra-long button plate, these seven fixing devices are all located at the back part. It can be observed from clips and button legs that button plate is made from translucent white ABS, which is also the reason for the LOGO blue light can pass through the case.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3107" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-8-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 8" width="300" height="225" /><br />
The top cover of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3108" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 9" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-9-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 9" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>The top cover of Razer Abyssus mirror edition are made from ABS material</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3109" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-10-300x199.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 10" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>It can be observed from button legs that button plate is made from translucent material</p>
<p>The middle cover and rear part of top cover get quite close as its fine module workmanship and seven fixing spots. However, the front side of top cover is a bit loose, because the long button plate is only fixed by the front button legs. After disassembled, the translucent pretty Medusa LOGO appears.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3110" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-11-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 11" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Medusa LOGO in Reverse side</p>
<p>Turn over the middle cover of Razer Abyssus mirror edition, the main component of shine LOGO can be seen: A milky highlight LED is fixed in the black spotlight bowl by PCB. There is nothing but the LED, which is quite simple in the PCB. Additionally, PCB is quite small, users have to add another PCB if you want to add a breathe light.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3111" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 12" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-12-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 12" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>LOGO Light position of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3112" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-13-300x199.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 13" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>LOGO Light of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3113" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 14" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-14-300x199.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 14" width="300" height="199" /><br />
The rear cover of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3114" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 15" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-15-300x204.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 15" width="300" height="204" /></p>
<p>The PCB of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p>The inner part of Razer Abyssus mirror edition is quite simple, and the mouse cables connect to PCB by plug-in. The joint of cables and cover has a cable case to ensure inner pull durability.<br />
Master PCB is fixed by the top cover instead of screws for cost saving. So it’s easy to pick it out. But pay attention not to lose two slide switches in the PCB back.</p>
<p>Razer Abyssus choose Omron D2FC-F-7N inching in left and right buttons, which is also the main reason for the clear clicking feeling. As same as Razer Adder, Razer Abyssus mirror edition adopts mechanical encoder structural design in scroll wheel. Maybe caused by the short wheel diameter, its rolling damping is a bit hard, but the tactile response is very obvious.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-161-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 16" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Inching feature of Razer Abyssus mirror edition<br />
To differ from high-end products, Razer Abyssus mirror edition doesn’t have shiny scroll wheel, but the middle rubber and two sides plastic material in scroll wheel of Razer Abyssus mirror edition resembles Razer Imperator. The part near middle inching is thick to ensure scroll wheel rolling and inching.<br />
Different from left and right buttons, central button of scroll wheel adopts TTC inching with slightly hard handle, which keeps the same as button clicking sense. Razer Abyssus mirror edition features Avago optical sensor “S3888” with DPI as high as 3500. It is not an exaggeration to say that Avago optical chip beginning with S is the word for senior optical mouse. Behind the optical board, a transparent lens shade fixes infrared LED, which is the work light source of Razer Abyssus mirror edition. Because infrared is invisibility for human beings, the bottom of Razer Abyssus mirror edition doesn’t shine after connecting to the computer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3117" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-17-300x201.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 17" width="300" height="201" /></p>
<p>Optical sensor of Razer Abyssus mirror edition</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3119" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-18-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 18" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>The central button uses TTC white spot inching</p>
<p>Turning the master PCB over, most components of Razer Abyssus mirror edition are located in the rear. Many components are pester design to save space. There is IC chip but it’s hard to see its information clearly. Two silver bulks are the sliding components for DPI and response rate adjustment.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3120" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 19" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-19-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 19" width="300" height="225" /><br />
Two small metal plates beside optical sensor are just slide switches of Razer Abyssus mirror edition. The rear cover is also made from ABS material. There is a special mouse lens in the rear cover.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3118" title="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 20" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Razer-Abyssus-Mirror-Edition-Gaming-Mouse-Disassembly-20-300x225.jpg" alt="Razer Abyssus Mirror Edition Gaming Mouse Disassembly 20" width="300" height="225" /></p>

<p>Take off the metal case, and then optical drive and large fan can be seen.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-9.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3031" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 9" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-9-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 9" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>After removing the fixed support, fan and cooling foundation, the key PCB with new craft processor and graphics chip comes out.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-10.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3033" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-10-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 10" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>The optical drive noise in Xbox 360 slim is much lower than the original.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-11.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3034" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-11-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 11" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>After  optical drive and HDD are detached, we can clearly see PCB  which is quite brief  without too many cooling fins.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-12.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3035" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 12" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-12-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 12" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>The larger and quieter  fan of Xbox 360 Slim</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-13.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3036" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-13-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 13" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Cooling system Comarison between Xbox 360 Slim and Xbox 360</p>
<p>The new cooling fins are mini, while the oringinal one is bigger and connected with heat pipe . You can see that Xbox 360 Slim definitely make a great improvement in reducing calorific power comsumption.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-21.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3039" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 21" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-21-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 21" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Xbox 360 Slim is powered by HANA video processor as same as Xbox 360.</p>

<p>The south bridge chip has been changed a bit for incresing USB interface number.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-16.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3037" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-16-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 16" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>

<p><strong>Logitech gaming mouse G500</strong> features a highest <strong><a href="http://www.gaingame.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&amp;search_in_description=1&amp;keyword=resolution">resolution</a></strong> of 5700DPI, self-defined functionality to create macros and top-class detail design. The two things gratify gamers most are that the bad compatibility of laser for years doesn’t appear in Logitech gaming mouse G500 and the reasonable price  around ＄ 65 dollars. Today we disassemble Logitech gaming mouse G500 to see its internal structure.</p>
<p><span id="more-2718"></span></p>
<p><strong>Logitech gaming mouse G500 </strong>specification:<br />
Work Pattern: Laser<br />
Mouse type: Wired<br />
Interface: USB<br />
Compatible Type: Game<br />
Highest Resolution: 5700DPI<br />
Human Engineering: YES<br />

<p>Logitech gaming mouse G500  and Disassembled Tools</p>
<p>The shell of Logitech gaming mouse G500  is easy to open. There are three stick baseboards in the bottom as same as Logitech G5/MX518 gaming mouse.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2721" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 3" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-3-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 3" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Remove stick baseboards of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2722" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 4" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-4-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 4" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Four screws are exposed outside after removing stick baseboards. There is a nameplate of Logitech G500 LOGO in the middle of the bottom.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2723" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 5" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-5-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 5" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Open top cover of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p>After opening the top cover of Logitech gaming mouse G500, the basic step has been completed. From the picture above, we can see that the internal structure of Logitech gaming mouse G500 in quite complicated. A flex cable, whose corresponding part is DPI display component and side keys, connects to power line and top cover.<br />
The Logitech gaming mouse G500 adopts front positioning engine, so most PCB board appears in the top front part.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2724" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 6" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-6-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 6" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Weight kit of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p>The whole weight kit uses original machanical structure with a spring to guarantee smooth use. Three screws used to fix it to rear cover offer fine fastness.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2726" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-8-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 8" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>To remove the top cover should unscrew three screws at first. The keys of Logitech gaming mouse G500 using sufficient material, are thicker than other same kinds of products as well as Logitech G5 gaming mouse. Here, we have to respect the hard efforts that Logitech has made on the development of product grinding apparatus.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2727" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 9" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-9-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 9" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>The most remarkable thing of Logitech gaming mouse G500 is Logitech exclusive dual-mode scroll wheel, which lets you press a button to change standard, ratcheted scroll wheel motion to a fast, free-spinning motion. The launch of micro gear has promoted Logitech products to a brand-new height.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2728" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-10-300x202.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 10" width="300" height="202" /></p>
<p>Scroll wheel of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p>How to remove Micro Gear is nerve-wracking as there is no screw or snap until we find a beam in it.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2729" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-11-300x200.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 11" width="300" height="200" /></p>
<p>the back of scroll wheel</p>
<p>After pulling out of the beam, the scroll wheel can be removed easily. It still amaze us that no screw is used to fix scroll wheel of Logitech gaming mouse G500.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2730" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 12" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-12-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 12" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Remove scroll wheel of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p>Logitech scroll wheel adopts completed mechanical structure, and achieves mode change by the button above. Its metal structure also provides fine durability.<br />
Logitech scroll wheel is well-known for a long time for its excellent workmanship and details. Just a excellent scroll wheel is not enough, however, as a gaming mouse, inching is the question that users concern most.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2731" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-13-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 13" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>PCB board of Logitech gaming mouse G500</p>
<p>Let’s look at the PCB board inching, which used the well-received Omoron technology providing good sense of rhythm while clicking. Two metal paster inching are beside the left, mainly corresponding to DPI adjustment key of Logitech gaming mouse G500.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2732" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 14" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-14-300x203.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 14" width="300" height="203" /></p>
<p>Logitech gaming mouse G500 uses Omoron inching</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2733" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 15" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-15-300x201.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 15" width="300" height="201" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2734" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-16-300x202.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 16" width="300" height="202" /></p>
<p>Some Parts of Logitech gaming mouse G500 use paster inching.</p>
<p>Maybe some people think paster inching is not good. But the fact is opposite. Paster inching with normal handle has been used long before, but a paster inching made of all- metal, with high quality and long life time, is supior than current general inching switch in a certain degree.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2736" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-17-300x199.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 17" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>Inside Side keys of Logitech Gaming Mouse G500</p>
<p>The picture above is the internal structure of Logitech gaming mouse which realizes three keys functionality. We have try anything but failed to take it out. To make sure the completion of reviewed product, we have to give up finally. But guessed from the comprehensive factors of space and handle, it may also use paster inching.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2737" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-18-300x202.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 18" width="300" height="202" /></p>
<p>Agilent S9500 B0902 chip of Logitech Gaming Mouse G500</p>
<p>The secret for good compatibility in Logetic gaming mouse G500 is this Agilent chip numbered as S9500 B0902 with huge size, which is more massive than other brand mouse. As Logitech doesn’t use separated slot design, we can not get the double layer PCB board out. After observation, this component is directly  welded.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2735" title="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 19" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-G500-Disassembly-19-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 Disassembly 19" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>The welded PCB board of Logitech Gaming Mouse G500<br />
So the disassembly is over till here. But we are satisfied that we have knew the fact of inching, PCB board, core positioning engine in Logitech gaming mouse G500.</p>
<p><strong>Summary:</strong><br />
Logitech gaming mouse G500 features 5700DPI laser positioning engine, showing high quality and good practicality. In the disassembly, the excellence internal structure not only inherits Logitech workmanship, but also is careful at each accessory. It can not be denied that Logitech gaming mouse G500 is a good product with good  quality and workmanship.</p>

<p>From the above we can see that Logitech G5 circuit board is divided into two, in front of this piece of circuit board on four-way scroll wheel and 8 buttons of the micro switch.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2465" title="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Logitech-G5-Laser-Mouse-Disassembly-17.jpg" alt="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-17" width="240" height="180" /></p>
<p>Button in the main use of the micro switch, Logitech G5 upholds the tradition of the past left and right buttons, is equipped with micro-switch OMRON. Logitech G5 only side button using the ZIP micro switch.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2466" title="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Logitech-G5-Laser-Mouse-Disassembly-18.jpg" alt="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-18" width="240" height="180" /></p>
<p>Logitech G5 applied the four-way scroll wheel technology, the technology only used in MX1000 among the MX series of previous generation products. We can see that four-way scroll wheel also sets out a bracket, bracket front end fixed on the circuit board, stand between the subject and fixed office to connect through a shaft, so although bracket is fixed, still can influence the toggle wheel. In support of the back-end has a spring , can provide wheel left and right, press the appropriate DIP or stretch.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2467" title="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-19" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Logitech-G5-Laser-Mouse-Disassembly-19.jpg" alt="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-19" width="240" height="180" /></p>
<p>Logitech G5 equips with a spring, a hole diameter larger than the ball would be caught in between the bearing and the wheel, so that when the toggle wheel, fixed on the wheel bracket and ball bearings to keep fixed, while the inside wheel design detailed bump lines, thus being naturally produced paragraphs feels.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2468" title="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-20" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Logitech-G5-Laser-Mouse-Disassembly-20-300x225.jpg" alt="Logitech G5 Laser Mouse Disassembly-20" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p>Optical engine is definitely the soul of a mouse, directly determines the performance of this mouse. Logitech G5 using the Agilent S6006 optical engine, which is specifically designed and  developed for the laser optical mouse. Maximum support 2000DPI resolution, 6.4 megapixels to provide / sec image processing capability.</p>
