<p>Wireless module is located at  side.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-8.jpg" rel="lightbox[2954]"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3032" title="xbox 360 slim disassembly 8" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xbox-360-slim-disassembly-8-300x200.jpg" alt="xbox 360 slim disassembly 8" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>

<p><strong>Sony PSP retread</strong> production methods and Identification Methods are as follows:</p>
<p>Now retread Sony PSP are divided into three kinds: <strong>original renovation</strong>, <strong><strong>Retread the whole Sony PSP</strong></strong>,<br />
<strong><strong>Half Sony PSP Retread</strong></strong>. <span id="more-1962"></span><br />
<strong>Original renovation</strong>: the Sony PSP are recalled consoles, such as too much dead pixels, drive problems and so on. These game console are basically no problem, but packing boxes are different from the normal boxes of game consoles. There game consoles boxes are white and no pictures, only PSP serial number and some text messages, and packaging is poor.</p>
<p><strong>Half Sony PSP Retread</strong>: these consoles only retread cover, and front panel is the original or assembly is unknown, but workshipman is the same as new console. Identification Method is open the front panel, remove the joystick and keys(some covers come with light while other are not), then use tools to blow off the dust and install. Such retread consoles have screws traces and rear panel scratched, and rear panel aperture-attached is formed. There are seams between front panle and rear panel. The color of HOME,VOLUME control keys do not match with the panel. There is wear and tear or dirt in USB interface. Within panel has dust or fingerprints(of course, some new consoles have a very small amount of dust). The two stickers of battery compartment color of light to see are not the same. LR keys have worm, and power indicators and memory stick lights transmittance is low.</p>
<p><strong>Retread the whole Sony PSP</strong>: this console uses a full set of shell to retread, including the aperture and the rear panel buttons, switches and so on. The methodology is replace all shell. Identification method is to see whether the color of the battery compartment sticker consistent from top to bottom, screws whether the traces, the rear panel is attached aperture formation, before and after  panel seams is stricted, whether there is dust on the screen.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1963" title="Sony PSP retread methods and Identification Methods-01" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PSP-retread-methods-and-Identification-Methods-01-300x202.jpg" alt="Sony PSP retread methods and Identification Methods-01" width="300" height="202" /></p>

<p>Packaging box comparison, the left is true and the right is fake. It is clear that fake box printing is no so good.</p>
<p>Important information: Joystick cap of Sony PSP is difficult to removed which are produced after March 2006. The column is white if you remove the joystick cap. If the column is black, it is very easy to remove and that is retreaded console. Factory date is in the UMS hatch. The retread Sony PSP does not come with factory date.</p>

<p>We have dismantled <a href="http://www.gaingame.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&amp;search_in_description=1&amp;zenid=4lsij0i9se6sgf1vvqi4jvub37&amp;keyword=Sony+PS3"><strong>Sony PS3</strong></a> before, this time to introduce the most attention part of Sony PS3 Blu-ray drive. Sony PS3 Blu-ray link together lens while the semiconductor laser is also using three-wavelength laser. A shaved head can issue laser which is used in CD.<span id="more-1902"></span></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1904" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-02" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-02-300x185.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-02" width="300" height="185" /></p>
<p>Blu-ray in the past always uses lemse and laser elements as a group, and is intended for using either CD/DVD in one group. Although the number of components will increase, CD/DVD components are cheaper also can bring better protection for Blu-ray stability.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1905" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-03" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-03-300x185.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-03" width="300" height="185" /></p>
<p>The future trend is certainly developing into a oombination of small size laser device with the development of technology and components to upgrade production technology. And in addtion  volume production and cost will be advantages.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1906" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-04" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-04-300x209.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-04" width="300" height="209" /></p>
<p>In fact, Sony PS2 has also taken the same approach when lanuched PS2. Sony developed a “two-wavelength laser” combined two parts. The requires technical ability can not compared to front though the way is the same. I believe that this is in order to reduce the cost of future, as well as do a preparation for miniaturization of optical thin.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1907" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-05" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-05-300x190.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-05" width="300" height="190" /><br />
On the other hand, the distance between HD DVD signal layer and disk surface is 0.6mm. So it is easy to put together with the optical system. It is expected to take into account the future co-designed lighting system.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1908" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-06" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-06-300x213.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-06" width="300" height="213" /></p>
<p>Rotator and skinhead, one skinhead corresponds to CD,DVD and Blu-ray disc. Like Blu-ray combined together with CD/DVD lens is relatively rare so far.</p>
<p>The movable part of the drive are supported by four wire.<br />
You can see three-wavelength laser by turning around the bald-head.<br />
To further dismantle the metal sheets and other things that can be dismantled.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1909" title="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-07" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-07-300x215.jpg" alt="Sony-PS3-game-console-drive-disassembly-07" width="300" height="215" />The whole appreance of optics. The innermost is the three-wavelength semiconductor laser.</p>
<p>Movable lenses hava sphcrical error correction role. Double ways is the first recording surface by reflecting light back through the lens material and lens twists and turns.</p>
<p>Blue bruises which is corresponding to blue light is turned to 90 degrees and into Blu-ray detector by laser splitter twists after the usual back and forth. Near-infrared or red light of CD/DVD will be turned 90 degrees by another optical splitter twists and into CD/DVD optical detector.</p>

<p><strong>(1): </strong><a href="http://www.gaingame.com/microsoft-xbox360-c-951.html"><strong>Xbox360 console</strong></a> and its accessories list<br />
Game console has its charm which PC does not compare and is gradually accepted by gamers. People are more and more concerning about console of the era with the three major console manufacturers competition.<span id="more-1834"></span></p>
<p>Microsoft as the giant of software industry, Xbox it lanuched earlier is considered as a PC in essence, and it comes with mobile Intel processor NVIDIA chipsets, Western Digital hard drive and a standard PC DVD-ROM drive, but Xbox did not gain more successful in the business for the reasons about timing and so on. It is undoubtedly that laid an excellent foundation for launching of next generation console.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1836" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-01" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-01-256x300.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-01" width="256" height="300" /></p>
<p>Xbox360 and Xbox contrast, Xbox 360 is more slender</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1837" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-02" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-02-300x215.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-02" width="300" height="215" /></p>
<p>『Xbox360 include additional hard drives, headphones and remote controller』</p>
<p>Xbox 360 is more compact than <a href="http://www.gaingame.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&amp;search_in_description=1&amp;keyword=xbox"><strong>Xbox</strong></a> and with Xbox 360 console, 20GB removeable hard drive, remote control, wireless controller, headset, Ethernet cable, AV video cable, external power supply .</p>
<p>It is speculated that Xbox 360 higher in power consumption than the previous generation, and in order to take into  account the size of the console should use an external while Xbox is a built-in power supply.</p>
<p><strong>(2):</strong> <strong>Xbox360</strong> use free screw design, greatly increased difficulty in dismantling</p>
<p>Microsoft has made some experience in the design of Xbox, because Xbox use ordinary screw fixation for easy to be opened by commonly tools, and change Xbox’s hardware or crack . Microsoft has been to prevent this happen through BIOS initialization state certified by Xbox Live, but hacker easy to crack this and allow users to easily switch between the normal state of BIOS and state after cracked.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1838" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-03" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-03-300x195.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-03" width="300" height="195" /></p>
<p>『Xbox360-free screw design, is difficult to open for ordinary users』</p>
<p>Microsoft has clearly pointed out that this system would not be opened by ordinary users, Xbox 360 use the non-screw design, full use fit shell, which is difficult for opening Xbox 360 behavior. Therefore, we recommend you use following tools if you want to open Xbox 360:</p>
<p>• T6, T7, T12 specifications triangle screwdriver<br />
• a flat head screwdriver or a thin wedge<br />
• a 2-inch long thin metal rod, the most thickness is not more than 1.5 millimeters<br />
• a 2-inch long flat metal rod, the most thickness is not more than 1 millimeters<br />
• Two sharp mouth pliers</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1839" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-04" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-04-300x196.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-04" width="300" height="196" /></p>
<p><strong>(3):</strong> First remove panel and chassis side cover<br />
Open Xbox 360 console front panel firstly for Xbox 360 using removable panel design, it is relatively easy to remove them. You can stretch thumb to the console USB interface and gently take off.</p>
<p>The next is to remove the metal panel upper the console, do not try to use wedge, take advantage of pressure will be able to let it fall slowly.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1840" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-05" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-05-300x196.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-05" width="300" height="196" /><br />
Remove the upper cover of Xbox 360.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1841" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-06" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-06-300x165.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-06" width="300" height="165" /></p>
<p>Then open the side cover of Xbox 360.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1842" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-07" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-07-300x145.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-07" width="300" height="145" /></p>
<p>After open the side cover, you will see there is metal panel to protect Xbox 360, and there are 14 silver screw and 8 black screw, they can be removed by using different screwdriver.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1843" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-08" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-08-300x182.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-08" width="300" height="182" /></p>
<p>The internal of Xbox 360 has been exposed completely in front of us, and similar with the computer, drive occupy a great deal of size and processor does not use fan cooling instead of using heat sink to overall heat cooling.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1844" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-09" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-09-300x215.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-09" width="300" height="215" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1845" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-09" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-091-300x215.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-09" width="300" height="215" /><br />
<strong>(4): </strong>Remove the DVD drive, we can see Xbox360 motherboard layout</p>
<p>The following removal is CD-ROM, which occupies a large portion volume of console, you can take off CD-ROM easily after unplug SATA cable and 12-pin power cord.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1846" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-10" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-10-300x196.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-10" width="300" height="196" /></p>
<p>The appearance of Xbox 360 motherboard has been glanced, processor and graphics core are protected by heat sink, as well as chip group can be seen in motherboard while motherboard also integrates with other chips.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1847" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-11" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-11-300x213.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-11" width="300" height="213" /></p>
<p>Xbox 360’s RF radio frequency modules, remove it with screwdriver. Static electricity may cause the hardware demage, so your motion must be gentle.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1848" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-12" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-12-300x214.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-12" width="300" height="214" /></p>
<p><strong>(5): </strong>Remove the heatsink and motherboard, CPU and GPU are dominate<br />
You must be patient while disassembly of GPU and CPU cooler for we can see everywhere reflect “X” feature in the thermal design.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1849" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-13" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-13-300x196.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-13" width="300" height="196" /></p>
<p>『Integrated thermal design』</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1850" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-14" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-14-300x210.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-14" width="300" height="210" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1851" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-15" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-15-300x148.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-15" width="300" height="148" /><br />
We can see more clearly about chips after removed the motherboard, CPU and GPU, also memory near the GPU.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1853" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-16" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-16-300x228.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-16" width="300" height="228" /><br />
<strong>(6): </strong>CPU core preview, 3 PowerPC cores play a strong role<br />
Xbox 360 uses the IBM&#8217;s PowerPC core, we know that the previous PowerPC instruction set is different from previous, so can not be transplanted directly in games.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1854" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-17" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-17-300x279.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-17" width="300" height="279" /></p>
<p>Xbox360 microprocessor designed based on IBM 64 bit PowerPC microprocessor, and composed of 165 million transistors, can improve the implementation of performance and reduce power consumption by using IBM&#8217;s 90nm SilicononInsulator, SOI.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1852" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-18" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-18-300x214.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-18" width="300" height="214" /></p>
<p>The processor has three symmetrical microprocessor core, operating at frequencies up to 3.2GHz, each core are a dual-thread processing capability, a total of handling six threads simultaneously. Each processor core for the Microsoft Xbox360 needs, equipped with improved version of the VMX-128 vector computing unit, with 128 of the buffer 128bit, is 4 times of the standard VMX, while also adding new instructions required for gaming applications and strengthen the implementation of the performance and reduce bandwidth requirements.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1855" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-19" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-19-300x214.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-19" width="300" height="214" /></p>
<p>The processor includes 1MB second-order memory for three core share, and join with high-speed streaming data special logic processing unit for graphics applications and system appilcations to improve data transission efficiency and bandwidth utilization.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1856" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-20" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-20-300x277.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-20" width="300" height="277" /></p>
<p><strong>(7): </strong>GPU Architecture using a unified pixel and vertex</p>
<p>Xbox360&#8242;s graphics chip designed by ATi, Microsoft has this graphics chip IP rights, but Microsoft can not sell to the public this graphics processor card.</p>
<p>This graphics processor also play a role of motherboard Northbridge chip. GPU will adopt a unified Shader architecture, different from traditional PC graphics processor which using separate pixel and vertex units, while Xbox 360 use unified command structure and logic to accomplish these two operations. This unified design more effieient, it can use less number transistors to achieve a amount of additional functionality.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1857" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-21" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-21-300x237.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-21" width="300" height="237" /></p>
<p>Xbox360&#8242;s graphics processor with 48 shader processor units, as mentioned above, because it uses a unified shader units, so it can not simply contrast 7800GTX graphics cards, we have a rough estimate it&#8217;s performance should be similar to 24 pipelines R420 (Note: ATi does not have 24 pipeline R420, here is simply estimating).</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1858" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-22" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-22-112x300.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-22" width="112" height="300" /></p>
<p>Another most important features of graphics uses a dual-Die package, a total of 332 million transistors, the larger Die equivalent of conventional sense of GPU, while the smaller one Die is a 10MB capacity DRAM, to meet the needs of GPU processing z-axis, template processing, color, alpha treatment and anti-sawtooth processing.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1859" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-23" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-23-300x138.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-23" width="300" height="138" /></p>
<p>Because uses a completely different processor, and a new graphics processor, so Xbox 360 achieve games support by software simulation.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1860" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-24" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-24-300x214.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-24" width="300" height="214" /></p>
<p>Xbox 360 is first step for Microsoft support high-definition output, which support the game 720p (1280&#215;720) high-resolution output. Xbox 360 supports all popular output formats, including: 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i.</p>
<p>Microsoft did not provide DVI or HDMI output, if you do not have high-definition TV, you can via VDA connector to link PC monitor, or through S-Video AV terminal output.</p>
<p><strong>(8): </strong>Chipset interpretation, integrated GPU to enjoy 22GB / s bus bandwidth<br />
We mentioned earlier the NorthBridge Xbox 360 has been integrated into the GPU, and similar to PC integrated graphics chipsets.</p>
<p>On the other hand Northbridge CPU FSB interface is also integrated to provide up and down along the 10.8GB / s total of 21.6GB / s of bandwidth!</p>
<p>At the same time North Bridge also provides up to 500MB / s and the south bridge of communication, while the South Bridge designed by SiS! South Bridge is used for a variety of storage devices, audio chip, USB devices and other I / O devices coordination.</p>
<p><strong>(9): </strong>wireless controller introduction, the console can support four handle connections at the same time</p>
<p>Remote control and other input device are key in game console, while Xbox 360 with the use of 2.4GHz RF wireless controller, but that not everyone can easily have, and only $ 399 suite, while the $ 299 suite is only with the line, it can be sure that Xbox 360 will support four wireless controller.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1861" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-25" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-25-300x243.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-25" width="300" height="243" /></p>
<p>It is still very light even wireless controller installed the battery. This is a very innovative design w that RF transmitter and receiver in the back of the power button.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1863" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-26" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-26-300x90.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-26" width="300" height="90" /></p>
<p><strong>(10):</strong> Memory analysis, built-in dual-layer DVD drive and external Hard Drive</p>
<p>Xbox 360 comes with a dual-layer DVD-ROM, this produced by Hitachi-LG, we mentioned before Xbox 360 equipped with a standard SATA interface, also with a dedicated power supply interface for the dual-layer DVD-ROM can bring a greater storage capacity.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1864" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-27" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-27-300x198.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-27" width="300" height="198" /></p>
<p>Xbox 360 with a removable hard drive, which for game developers, can through Cache to reduce the disk unnecessary load time, but also through Xbox Live to download the content they need. If you want to run pre-generation Xbox game, it must need help from hard disk.</p>
<p>Because the previous generation games are not compatible with existing hardware and can only be achieved by simulating.</p>
<p>Dismantling and presentations by the above, I believe you have a comprehensive understanding of Xbox 360.With the games continuous introduction, it will go to show it has value for us to expect.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1865" title="XBOX-360-disassembly-28" src="http://blog.gaingame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/XBOX-360-disassembly-28-300x214.jpg" alt="XBOX-360-disassembly-28" width="300" height="214" /></p>
