In fact, Nintendo have attempted vibration function for a long history. Vibration of expansion appeared in 2005 is one of them. Unfortunately, these periphery has not the good performance, only corresponds 40 games, and it is not compatible NDSi, range of application is very limited.

Nintendo may be planning to provide more useful vibration function for new console, and may be achieved in NDSi, or may have to wait until NDS2. But, do you think about that game consoles really need vivration functions?
