In this post, I’d like to show you how to replace a PSP Slim LCD Screen. Be careful, it will void your warranty.
During this process, you will need some small flathead screwdrivers, needlenose pliers, ziploc bag for screw and small parts, a plate is also necessary.
First: Take your battery out and remove the seven screws to open your PSP Slim. Put the screws in the plate, we should use them later. Look at the pictures, four screws on the back, one on the bottom, and another two on the top.

Second: Get out the faceplate. Pry off the button bars at both sides with the flathead screwdriver. The screen is held by some plastic clips, take the screen out carefully with the flathead screwdriver.

Third:Lift up the screen to disconnect the cables. The thin cable on the left is the backlight cable. The thick cable next to it is the LCD data cable. The one on the right is the button bar cable.

Forth: Replace with the new LCD. Installation is the reverse of removal
