1. The correct method to switch on-off  PSP
Boot – In the off state of PSP, push up lightly the POWER button in the left side of the fuselage. After the start, there will display the following words: SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAMENT.

Shutdown – Push up lightly the POWER button for 3 seconds in left side of the fuselage while the PSP turn on, until the screen become black completely. This is the right way to go.

Standby – PSP can be in the standby state just push up the POWER button lightly while the PSP is on. Turn on the PSP while it is standby, it can resume to the state of before the standby. Take note of that don’t use standby in the game if you use the lead-free mode of PSP. Because boot again can easily lead to crashes. You can pick out the battery then re-fitted and boot so that can be restored normal.

2.  The method of connecting PSP and PC with the USB cable
First, connect PSP and PC with USB cable, into the user operation interface of PSP while it is in the boot state, press the arrow keys to select the column of set up, then press the arrow key on the second positive is the USB connection, click the circle button on the PSP to connect the PC. It will prompt that the discovery of new hardwarem, and it will install the driver automatically if the system is XP or 2000. Now open my computer, you will see the removable disk, that is the PSP. The using method is the same as the U disk. You can click the X button on the PSP to disconnect the PSP and PC, do not worry about burning out memory stick.

4. The correct charging method
PSP battery using lithium batteries but PSP battery no memory effect, the first charge is no need to charge for dozens of hours, 3 hours can be filled, PSP will automatically cut off the external power supply if it is full , so do not worry burn-in.

Note 1: The battery should be placed inside PSP charging, or use SONY original seat to charge, the battery will be locked if use any third party Charger to charge, so I do not recommend you use a third party charger.
Note 2: PSP2000 supports USB charging, PSP will not produce any side effects, which is officially allowed function. But the USB charging power is very small, mainly in order to prevent the data transfer process data corruption caused by power failure, USB charging please use our gifts original USB cable, we do not recommend using the kind of dual-use of the USB cable charging, it’s easy damage the PSP.

8. How to play PSP games
PSP supports ISO or CSO format of the game, CSO is the compressed file of ISO format, the file size smaller than the ISO format, but the LOADING of time longer than the ISO. PSP games downloaded from the Internet is generally RAR format, and need to be unzipped to get ISO or CSO file, but some also is the ISO file directly.
