At Nintendo’s E3 conference, Reggie announced that a new Golden Sun game would be coming out spring of 2010 for the DS.  No other details were given, but the footage showed some 3D environments and dual screen summoning cut scenes. It looked good, and I’m sure this announcement will go a long way in convincing long-time fans that Nintendo doesn’t completely hate their guts.

Some people always really enjoyed the Golden Sun games for their puzzle elements. Sure, the story is generic and the battle system is basic RPG but the puzzles are always great. I wish more RPG’s are willing to have fun with the Dungeons like Golden Sun and Paper Mario do.
