Nintendo just released a new Dsi firmware 1.4 which adds Facebook photo uploads. Pressing Update on the Setting Menu, users can update the firmware easily by WiFi. To most users, the new function is additional, the update firmware blocks all flashcarts, including AK2i, R4 family and other old brands flashcarts.

But now there’s a video posted online. The video shows that new R4i works on the new Dsi firmware 1.4. If it is true, that means that Nintendo anti-piracy act has failed again. There’s a rumor that the new R4i will be released later.
